So, if you are a skilled worker and keen to migrate to Canada permanently, and if you have high qualifications, great skills, and relevant work experience even as your profession finds mention on the Quebec 2019 in Demand Occupation List, this could be your chance to realize your immigration dreams!

Check the Quebec In-Demand Occupation List for 2019 that has the professions with high demand in the region, and see if your occupation finds a mention.

If it does, apply through the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP)!

QSWP

Run by the Quebec government and Federal Government of Canada, it enables those talented and trained International foreigners, who can make handy contributions to the province, to move to the province as a skilled worker permanently.

The program nominates those highly skilled workers who can contribute in the province with their potential and abilities.

Quebec Permanent Residency (PR) Process 2019

Quebec immigration process is rather different from the ones followed by other Canadian provinces. The nomination process and requirements for the QSWP are different from the program run by other provinces. In Quebec, the French language is regarded as the first official language.

The process has two steps:

a) You have to get a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) first. You will receive if you have fulfilled the eligibility requirements of the QSWP and the province has nominated you to settle in the province on a permanent basis.

b) After getting the CSQ certificate, you can apply for PR Visa to the Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC). To apply for Canada PR, lodge your application along with the CSQ certificate.
